Introducing a new roster of nutraceuticals with Vivaro Health Sciences

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of entrepreneurs and pharmaceutical executives came together with the common goal of providing accessible and affordable nutritional products to Filipinos. But with the country’s healthcare space already saturated, the company needed to find a niche to bank on and create strategies to establish consumer trust.

Following my successful internship at Cobena, I was tapped by the company CEO to contribute to a special project he had in the works. During my two-month stint as a market research and product development intern at the healthcare e-commerce startup, I accomplished the following tasks:

  • Generated analysis reports that examined the landscape of both the hair and skincare markets; compared prices and product claims of key competitors and identified possible distribution channels

  • Conducted feasibility studies for three different types of nutraceuticals to determine product-market fit

  • Pitched market entry strategies for a brand of supplements to C-suite executives and helped close deals with international clientele

  • Co-created the company’s marketing plan; assisted in creative direction and coordinated with the production house in charge to produce promotional collaterals for Vivaro’s launch
